Well Anthony thats not 100% true! I got nailed by the cops later that night and it wasn't for doing a burnout........ way worse than that! Lets just put it this way: if my insurance goes up high enough by by Foci.

He told me the story at the last meet. I'll let him tell ya what happened, but lets say he's lucky he got off with what he did. He coulda got nailed far worse than he did.

It was in burlington, lets just say when you can't afford the insurance as it is and Mr. 5-0 decides hes gonna chase you and you lead yourself ight into a closed off court your f******. I got let off with running one stop sign however........ there were a few more than that. I'm not to impressed with myself or any of this.... I got some one to try and fight the ticket for me, which they can put it off in the court system for a year. I know a stop sign offence dont sound that bad, but when your 18 going on 19 and you already have two minor offensenses (no points 15km/h over) then your insurance company is going kill you. I already pay $480 a MONTH. Whats it going to be now? $500? $600? $700? $800? I have no choice, I gotta fight the ticket even tho the cop said to me "If you take this to court I'll take you down with Careless Driving". However i'm told once the cop writes the ticket he can't change it. Well all I can say is wish me luck. If things work out ok, then i'll keep the car if not, look for it in trader. I wont pay $8000 yr for insurance on a focus. Sorry.

If the crown can question you in a certain way about the events that night, and the judge feels that you admitted to careless on the stand, then you can be charged with it.
But yeah, the cop wont be able to change the charge on the ticket. They've said that to me before, and they were pissed when I showed up to fight it, but he can't change the ticket.
