OK I am in for $50. I am in South Etobicoke so PM me and arrange how we should hook up. I am giving up on the Euro Lock. I dont want to have to change my bumper or headlights at this point.

Wtb Grille - redZX3 - 01-17-2006

Wtb Grille - Focus man. Focus. - 01-18-2006

I read the post again and I count 3. I guess this means we are not on for the buy. Hmmmm Bummer. Oh well. :iono:

Wtb Grille - Casper - 01-18-2006

Actually, looks like 4, and 1 already backed out.

How about that other eBay one? $17 USD each, and see if they will offer combined shipping?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

One person would have to order, and collect the funds from everyone via PayPal, and ship them out upon receipt.

No offense, but welcome to January 8th.

That was exactly my suggestion ... I did indeed ask that supplier for combined shipping (which they are happy to do for an order of 5 -- that's where the number 5 came from) ... I was happy to put it on my credit card and have it shipped to my U.S. PO box ... I was happy to go down there and bring it back across the border and distribute it from my place here in Brampton ... and I was happy to do all that for a mere $60 each (not $50) ... I posted about it and my post was met with 2 days of virtual silence.

I have since deleted the post (hence the "never mind") and so ... there you have it. You're now up to speed.

Wtb Grille - vealzx3 - 01-19-2006

Well thanks for the offer I guess, sorry for such a delay to find 5 buyers in 2 days  . Oh and you did orginally say $50 did you not?. Hell, would have done it for $60 but it was never considered. End of story. Thanks anyway.

Wtb Grille - Focus man. Focus. - 01-19-2006

My bad too. I guess I was thinkin about to many things at once. I was also thinking about going for the euro hood lock but changed my mind. So for now I think I will tint my amber turn and marker lenses. I don't really need the clear ones anyways.

You just saved me $50.00 or $60.00 :D

Your sarcasm is duly noted ... my bad for thinking that the offer of a favour to the FC community was something good and something voluntary.

Had you'd actually read both my posts in their entirety you would have seen that the working number was $60 (including taxes at the border) and that I plainly stated I would wait 2 days for a "solid expression of interest."

In my opinion a zero response in 2 days doesn't come close to qualifying. If more than 48 hours is needed to make a $60 decision my advice is 'don't spend the money.'

You may feel differently and that is certainly your right ... the good news is that there is nothing preventing you from picking up the baton and moving it forward. My offer of the use of my PO box in Niagara Falls NY still stands.

You obviously have some enthusiasm in making this happen (otherwise you wouldn't have posted again, right?) ... so here's the email I received about the shipping ... over to you now.

Okay ... pay attention because this is getting tedious.

What help exactly are you offering ... ragging on me isn't getting anybody closer to cheap grilles. Why haven't you offered to broker the deal like I did?

vealzx3,Jan 19 2006, 03:25 PM Wrote:You didn't have to get all worked up about it in the first place?
In the first place I forgot about it because no one else seemed interested ... I only got mildly worked up in the second place when you decided to get sarcastic on me.

vealzx3,Jan 19 2006, 03:25 PM Wrote:If it was a favour to the community than you would have made it happen by changing the stakes
Riiiiiiiiiiiigggggggggggghhhhhhhhtttttt. It's all my fault there was a lack of interest.

vealzx3,Jan 19 2006, 03:25 PM Wrote:Instead you edited your previous posts and jumped ship leaving the "community" scratching heads
Jumped ship -- scratching heads??!!! Fawk off ... look at the posts ... nobody posted anything for another couple of days after the edit ... you show me the strong interest in this thread and I'll renew my offer to help.

vealzx3,Jan 19 2006, 03:25 PM Wrote:How did it go from $40 to $60+ taxes at the boarder anyways
See ... that's what I'm talking about you not paying attention. First off, we were only talking rough numbers and secondly, it went from $50 CAD to $60 CAD including taxes at the 'boarder' [sic].

vealzx3,Jan 19 2006, 03:25 PM Wrote:Who cares
Apparently you do ... more than anyone else.

So are you doing this or not? -------------- Didn't think so. The end.
