seems there are no kits for the LX/SE just ZX3 ZX5...or am I just not looking in the right places?

There are kits for the sedan out there... click the link below... I did a huge write up on it, very easy to navigate to the sedan kits....

Body Kits - guilty - 12-15-2004
You dont have as many options for a rear bumper for the sedans.. but you have to expect that since it's a less common model to modify.
You can use any front bumper on any Focus model, so it doesnt matter if it says ZX3 or whatever..
