With a lil TLC on the tranny and an aftermarket intake manifold My Focus would run low 12's maybe squeek high 11's Damm with a tranny that won't grind under heavy acceleration It would already be in the 12's

i wish i had the money to buy your car :( it seems so lonely just sitting there collecting dust.... u shud drop boost down and put in another tranny, atleast u could drive it around for fun right?

Fixed it for ya.

You might think its to much $$$ but im asking less than what I payed for the motor build alone So the price will not go lower but I am open to interesting trades.

Sorry - I wasn't being critical (lame attempt at humour) - I have no doubt that what you're asking is good value, it's just out of my budget range for a third car and I wish it wasn't. Cheers.

Well if you want to build it your way Ill give FC.NET a wicked deal. Jamie and Ken here's your chance, hope it's within your budget.

$3300!! :o

Toms N/a Tune - GFXjamie - 09-09-2009

*drool*..... gah i hate you! lol this is sooooo tempting.... i would run to the bank right now and pay u for it... then shove a smaller turbo on it, crazy suspension set up and rock it for lapping lol but...

i can't... i hate you so much for this right now....

Toms N/a Tune - ZX3_2NV - 09-09-2009

Sorry 4 hijacking the thread guys leave coments on my FS thread, and yup this would make a decent circuit car with a small turbo working with my low compression motor could possibly spank some STI's out there with a little work. (BUY ME NIK) Im still open to interesting trades or even work out a payment plan if need be since its just sitting there collecting dust.

Toms N/a Tune - NikiterZTS - 09-11-2009

lol thanks but i already have one money pit :P

Does your focus have a twin scroll turbo?

lmao, no problemo man. And yes, you would spank STI's, from factory there pretty much topped out, and lets not metnion 'lazy pistion' syndrom lmao. Thanks for the info boyz, I spaced on the fact there custom for each ECU.

This is complety un-true.

Stock STi from the factory does anywhere 235-245whp to all 4 on the dyno.
You can easily squeeze 340 out of them just with turbo back + tune.

My buddy has one (2006) and with cold air, 3 in DP, 3 inch exhaust. He dynoed at only 305 to the wheels. now mind you hes missing the tune, but the H motor dosent handle high boost well on stock internals

I hope your buddy at least runs off the shelf tune (aka COBB Access Port).

2007 STI Limited 454whp, 474wtq STOCK MOTOR 26 psi and it holds boost pretty good

if this doesn't do for you then what does?

Toms N/a Tune - sonic_mikey - 09-18-2009

one word, built. iv heard horror stories of high boost stock internals shattering, blow-by at higher km (100k, still new), valve seats disintegrating and the like. And when i say iv heard stories, I dont mean from joe-blow on the corner lol. Either way, i personally dont care, i dont drive one, i never would, my only turbo car from factory would be the new RS if it ever makes its way over here!
