Canada Hockey - Olympics - NikiterZTS - 02-22-2010

Russia VS Czech republic

predictions?

Canada Hockey - Olympics - darkpuppet - 02-23-2010

um, Russia?

I didn't watch lastnight's game between Canada and US. Sorta figured it wasn't going to end well.

Now the question is, can we beat Germany and Russia?

I feel like a leafs fan...

Man, Brodeur looked ordinary out there last night. He should of got yanked after the second goal, he looked very nervous. His staple is puck handling and he looked like a novice out there. Canada took some really bad penalties at the end of the 2nd and start of the 3rd. Just couldn't get momentum going.

Germany should be an easy win, then Russia should be the test. We need better goaltending and better discipline if we're going to win. Goalies win championships.

it was the game before canada lost

Why Broduer got the second start after playing like garbage against the Swiss is beyond me <_<

Now hopefully Luongo can take the ball and run with it...

I'm sure Brodeur is out the next game.. but I'll be honest, i don't think Luongo's got what it takes either...

Luongo has the potential to win, but he never did..
Fleury on the other hand, he's won a championship.

It's official, Luongo starting for Canada on Tuesday.

I remember this as well. I would put Luongo in before Fleury, remember Luongo filled in for an ijured Brodeur to beat the Czechs in the 04 World Cup, a 4-3 OT win which we all know Canada went on to win the final vs the Finns

Canada Hockey - Olympics - tetra - 02-23-2010

Yeah, I remember that bobble.. but Fleury has proven himself over the last few seasons as an elite goaltender. He pretty much won he Stanley Cup for the Pens with that amazing last second save on Lidstrom lol

But I too would go with Luongo before, especially since he's played a game already. Tonight should be a fairly easy win, then off to meet the Russkies. If Canada were to lose, I would feel like a Leafs fan. lol
