I Have The Turbo Bug - chumkila - 06-18-2004 So do you run the engines on standard compression ratio as bolt-on turbo applications or not? Sorry i've not heard of that as we don't have it in the UK. :D LOL. What c/r does this headgasktet lower to? Also why use this gasket? Is it multi-layer? I Have The Turbo Bug - Paparoach - 06-19-2004 The escape is an SUV....the gasket is thicker...so lowers compression. :D The exact numbers I am not sure of... I Have The Turbo Bug - chumkila - 06-19-2004 Just used Google to find one. ;) Are these Escape's all 2.3 ?? We use a Focus 2000 Zetec-E Multi-layer headgasket from Ford for most ZT applications.
