Not all cars came with rear headrests (most didn't), most people would be keeping them, not getting rid of them.

Yeah since IIRC in the '05's the headrests only came standard in the rear on the SES models. Someone paying for the extra bling of the SES ain't giving those up...

Anyone maybe have a part number for the SES that I could just order? I'm in the US and the only ones that came with rear head rests was the SVT and they're black leather.

I have two rear headrests from my 2002 zx3.
they are the grey color. Shoot me an offer for both. They were removed almost right away cause they interfered with my vision....
