Once there's a hole, the plan collapses. Hwy Protest. - nass - 03-21-2006 the best part is they can't get a ticket or anything.... they do make a good point. sometimes the slower drivers are the more dangerous ones Hwy Protest. - Phantom - 03-21-2006 Man that is so stupid. Imagine if emergency vehicles need to get by. Those guys are actually breaking law, obstructing a road way. I would've gone infront and broke their stupid line, or if I had a beatup truck hit em. I would've gone infront and broke their stupid line, or if I had a beatup truck hit em.Point or not, that stunt could very well have got someone killed. The guy in the van that clipped the car parked on the roadside could very well have killed some guy minding his own business changing a flat tire. While it would have been the van driver's fault, they (the protesters) would still be morally complicit in the result. Their "protest" would not have been so funny with the blood of an innocent on their hands... Hwy Protest. - Phantom - 03-21-2006 OAC_Sparky,Mar 20 2006, 07:44 PM Wrote:My point exactly. They did it a few years back to protest the cost of rising diesel fuel and the fact they can't make money cause fuel is so expensive. I could be wrong but I do believe farmer's have also done the same thing but it was around the london/windsor area? Hwy Protest. - laidman - 03-22-2006 yup they blocked the casino windsor and the downtown area last summer or somthign, what did it solve nothign, what did it cost, a waste of a day in gas and farming, good plan guys |
