Removing Exhaust Heat Shields - Fingers - 02-20-2006 The points where they bolt down have rotted away, so the heat shield is dangling and pissing me off. Can I remove it completely with no ill effects, or should I replace it to keep things "proper"? I'm sure I can mcguyver it back on, but I have no confidence in how long it will hold. I just cut off bit of it. I didnt really want to destroy it in case I change my mind... but f*** it, i've had enough. I'll be snippering the POS tomorrow. |
