2009 Canadian Street Car Nationals Schedule
August 14, 15 and 16
Friday, August 14th
Gates open - noon
Tech opens - noon
Time Trials begin - 3:00 pm
Saturday, August 15th
Gates open - 8:00 am
Tech opens - 8:30 am
Time Trials begin - 10:00 am
1st round Qualifying - noon
2nd round Qualifying - 2 pm
3rd round Qualifying - 4 pm
Car Show Awards - 5 pm
Sunday, August 16th
Gates open - 9:00 am
JAMA Chapel service - 9:00 am
Tech opens - 10:00 am
Time Trials begin - 10:00 am
1st round Eliminations - noon
2nd round Eliminations - 2 pm
3rd round Eliminations - 3 pm
4th round Eliminations - 4 pm
FINALS - 5 pm
Car Show - Show n Shine
We would like to thank all those who came out last year to support the show and shine. We are looking forward to make 2009 bigger and better.
Friday $15.00 / Saturday $30.00 / Sunday $30.00 or weekend pass $60.00.
Saturday ONLY - Show starts at noon and awards to be handed out at 5:00 pm
Free with your day pass into the track. Watch drag racing from where your car is parked in the Show and Shine.
You car could be chosen for a Photo Shoot for a magazine.
Reserve your Club's Parking area with a minimum of 20 cars.
Any idea's on how to make this a bigger success please let us know.

If the weather doesn't kill the show tomorrow in Whitby, I'll be meeting up with one of the organizers of the Dixie Ford show. Sticking point on dates seems to be not wanting to run against the show @ Summit Ford but apparently no one at Summit is talking about a date.
Maybe he'll have some news :unsure:

The person with the red SVTF wasn't at the Whitby show, which all in all would have been a complete waste of a day if not for the "power wrench" I won in the prize raffles :P (When the MC says they had to be "politically correct" when choosing the winners <_<)

Oops, I meant when it came time to hand out the awards hardware (I mean when he makes the announcement at that point and the lion's share of the awards go to "club cars" <_<)
Not like they could fix the raffle drawing, it's not like the girls drawing struck me as competent enough to do it anyways :lol: (Pretty to look at yes, pretty vapid? Oh yeah, ain't much going on where it counts)
