Wtb Video Card - Chromey - 11-10-2005 Looking for a 256 mb Vid card. Must have DVI Must not be a ATI Or PCI Express. Wtb Video Card - NOS2Go4Me - 11-10-2005 Something that new, Nvidia? http://www.ncix.com Oh and if you're not getting a 6800 GT, it's 6200 junkers or less for you if you want a 256MB frame buffer. With ATI (and I don't get why you don't want one), you can get a X600/X700 with a 256MB frame buffer and get awesome midrange performance. On that note, why do you need a 256MB frame buffer? Wtb Video Card - Chromey - 11-10-2005 I have a ATI9600 256 Now. Its my Second ATI Card that blew up on me in 4 months. I will Slice my balls off before i ever look at another ATI P.O.S Product. Wtb Video Card - NOS2Go4Me - 11-10-2005 To each their own :) Can I recommend the BFG 6600GT OC 128MB AGP card? LIFETIME warranty, a real performance job for midrange. http://www2.ncix.com/products/index.php?sk...%20Technologies From the product page: Along with some good overclocking results (588 on the core, 1.17 on the memory clock), BFG also throws in their lifetime warranty and 24/7 toll free tech support with the 6600GT OC but unfortunately there is no bundled game included. Pricing is on the higher side - both locally and online, the BFG 6600GT OC commands a premium over other 6600GT AGP cards and like the benchmarks, puts it in the region between reference 6600GT cards and the more expensive 6800 |
