Dont use peanut butter or tooth paste... :o I'd say get a toothbrush...warm, soapy water, and do it that way.... Outta curiosity, why were you waxing an unpainted bumper?! Removing Wax On Bumper - GapBoyPCS - 09-07-2005 The PB and toothpaste are meant for the black trim pieces that wax gets on. You might need a good degreaser like Simple Green or maybe Goo Gone. But, I'm sure body shops usually are able to prepare a surface correctly -- meaning, they may usually wipe the surface down with a good solvent that dissolves any surface grease. If you're getting the unpainted piece painted, you might want to inform the body shop that this happened and they might "clean" it for you :) Removing Wax On Bumper - ANTHONYD - 09-07-2005 Leave it in the sun. Maybe a heat gun (on really slow and easy.) Removing Wax On Bumper - djrard - 09-09-2005 ok thx |
