Empty Bracket On Driver's-side Strut Tower - NOS2Go4Me - 07-04-2005
It was threatening to carve my air filter like a Christmas turkey, so I "modified" it.
It also appears to hold up the tray for the airbox, so I didn't remove it entirely.
The question is, what the heck is the part I hammered flat supposed to do? :huh:

Is it to hold the airbox on? They have similar brackets on the other side for the coolant resevoirs, the resevoir clips into that piece of metal.

It might have been, man. No idea. Now I just gotta give it a tiny bit of touchup on the "contact areas" so it doesn't look so ghetto :P
The filter sits MUCH nicer now :D
