I need help. How do I install a volt meter? It seems preety simple, but I dont know what to hook it up to for power? Any help will be appreciated.

For the positive source:
Run a power wire through the firewall and connect it directly to the battery

For the negative source:
I grounded mine to the chassis, which should work fine.

For the light ground do the same as above.

For the light source, you can connect to your dimmer line on the radio, not sure the colour you can see the below diagram to maybe help you.

there's no need to run a wire all the way to the battery to get a reading for your voltmeter gauge .. you can also just hook up to a location that has power while the key is on in your fuse box under the dash ... alittle easier that way

Just tap it intot he + wire that runs to the cig lighter.

I did it tonight. I hooked into my remote turn on wire for my amp. Thanks guys
