Installing Udp - vealzx3 - 05-05-2005 I tried to do my udp today but I couldn't get the crank bolt. Tried the focus hacks method and broke a crappy ratchet, and also broke a torx screwdriver trying to hold it in the grooves. This sucker is really on there.. I even put it in first, held down the brake while my 250lb buddy reefed on it  . Any tips or suggestions would e great. I don't really want to fork $200 on it. Installing Udp - dBlast - 05-05-2005 Impact wrench. Installing Udp - ZX3TUNR - 05-05-2005 impact for sure ;) Installing Udp - Jays2000ZX3 - 05-06-2005 It took 1 pull of the trigger on my impact when I did Raine's 2 weeks ago. Installing Udp - vealzx3 - 05-06-2005 ok, I'll just have to beg a dude I work with to borrow his impact gun. He's such a tight ass about his tools though. Installing Udp - S2 - 05-06-2005 Make sure the engine is in gear and the belt is ON then try to loosen it as that will help with some resistance. Also get someone to step on the brake pedal. EDIT - I did read what you tried in your original post, try with the belt on also. Impact works the best though. Installing Udp - Chromey - 05-09-2005 put it in 5th gear so its more of a 1-1 ration... |
