Water Temp Gauge - 01-yellow-ZX3 - 11-12-2004 I tapped into one of the rad lines with mine. Fabbed and welded up a little bung, cut the hose, and clamped the two ends around this metal piece with the sender in the middle. It's been flawless for 2 years now... Remember to ground the sender also. It's one of the harder gauges to install for sure, but it works... Water Temp Gauge - ZX3TUNR - 11-12-2004 Wonder where else is a good place... If you're not familiar with that kind of work I strongly suggest to NOT drill your thermostat housing. You could mess it up really easy. The plastic housing is known to crack and leak by it's own and adding holes in it surely won't help. Go to some hardware store and get yourself a plastic T to splice one of your hose. Much safer and quick than removing the whole thermostat housing. |
