16 Inch Tires? - SL8RZZX3 - 04-05-2009

I found a good deal on a set of 16 inch rims and i'll need to buy tires......

will 225/45/16 be ok? will i have any issues with going that wide?

And yes i sold my 18's and have been finding it really hard to find rims in our bolt pattern that i like... so i figured some nice light weight 16's might help :D

If the 16s are 7" wide or wider then 225 will fit the rim okay ... but whether or not you have issues with rubbing will depend on your suspension and the offset of the rim.

If they're OE rims then they're only 6.5" wide and 225s will more than likely be too wide - wouldn't go any wider than 215s and of course the stock 205s would be best.
