Cold Air Intake - CB4 - 05-29-2004 Hey there; Just bought new focus 00 ZX3 what would you reccomend as best for CAI? Cam Cold Air Intake - ZX3TUNR - 05-29-2004 My top 3 choices Volant - if you got $$$$ Steeda Hi Flow BOMBZ - exact aem clone and good price (debate about it here http://www.focuscanada.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=5247) Cold Air Intake - S2 - 05-29-2004 Yeah I know most focus modders go with a VOLANT but damn, seriously costly, like double that of a Steeda Intake. I got a Steeda intake and it performs awesome! Cold Air Intake - meford4u - 05-29-2004 Welcome to the forum and enjoy your new focus! Cold Air Intake - Paparoach - 05-29-2004 Mmmmm easy Ice-man tubing with the volant box and filter.....kinda like Black ZX3.....oh yeah I remember. But seriously Iceman, Volant, Aem or anything from STeeda Welcome to the board Cold Air Intake - Focus Is Art - 05-30-2004 Welcome to the board. If you want the best, go get a Volant. If you want the best bang for the $, go get a ebay shorty. With a shorty you don't have to worry about water, broken arm...etc. The only problem w/ the shorty is your car may stall when you stuck in the traffic in a hot day. BTW, since ur is a 2k focus. Make sure all ur recall is up to date. Cold Air Intake - D-Dub - 05-30-2004 I have a volant and Im very happy with it, but it does have that damn boggin down problem that most intakes have when the weather gets really hot.
