-ultra Secret- Plan Of Action For My Svt. - french_connection - 05-26-2004  ultra secret my A 55... B) naw, im joking, I wanna tell you so you tell me your opinions, even thought I think the setup is gonna be pretty thight. in the couple next months I should be getting a few cool toy for the car, here it goes: 10lbs pulley 55pounds highimp injectors 70mm pro m recall for 300 engine hp Snowperformance water/meth injection stage II Custom SCT Dyno tuned ECU Intrax svt springs also Hella projectors Ford racing SVT euro rims in black maybe Black&dark red subtle grafix job im still debating an ORP and a hood scoop... I figure I get all the part ship to michigan where my tuning will be at, I wont pay duty this way and save a lot... ;) I will go for 2 days and swap/instal the parts the day before the tuning. -Marc -ultra Secret- Plan Of Action For My Svt. - D-Dub - 05-26-2004 Thats AWESOME!!!!....not to mention that they finally have tunning chips and software for the SVT I wish I had the cash for that list, good luck with all that and hopefully you can smoke Dons car!! One thing I might disagree on is the SVT rims they are kinda heavy at 20lbs <_< -ultra Secret- Plan Of Action For My Svt. - french_connection - 05-26-2004 D-Dub,May 26 2004, 02:59 AM Wrote:I wish I had the cash for that list...but then you would go to the stripper for a week and get the head ache of your life....   I assumed that with all that power, those strong 20lbs rims would be a good match for my aggressive driving in REAL city driving, more spoke = less weak spots... ;) -ultra Secret- Plan Of Action For My Svt. - scoobasteve - 05-26-2004 haha, we seem to be thinking alike. how safe is the motor gonna be running 10psi? -ultra Secret- Plan Of Action For My Svt. - D-Dub - 05-26-2004 french_connection,May 25 2004, 11:05 PM Wrote:hahaha If I was wasnt dating my g/f I would and I used to be a regular, getting the VIP treatment doesnt really help you either.D-Dub,May 26 2004, 02: Wrote:I wish I had the cash for that list...but then you would go to the stripper for a week and get the head ache of your life....   Rims wise yes the multispoke from experiance was a plus but there are so many companies these days that have multispoke rims and they are light and strong. I dont know how much you are willing to spend but OZ superleggas are multispoke and wiegh under 20 not to mention they are in gun metal also. If your not focused on multispokes then the door is open to you for lighter rims. -ultra Secret- Plan Of Action For My Svt. - french_connection - 05-26-2004 scoobasteve,May 26 2004, 03:21 AM Wrote:haha, we seem to be thinking alike. how safe is the motor gonna be running 10psi?I would assume that with the snowperformance water/meth it will be pretty safe. eventualy, I would like to up it up to 15lbs, but thats after I get beafier drivertrain components, so not before next year. -ultra Secret- Plan Of Action For My Svt. - scoobasteve - 05-26-2004 hmm. what's the most boost you can run before you go with water/meth injection ? sounds pretty sweet man. what kinda rubber you goin with? -ultra Secret- Plan Of Action For My Svt. - naz - 05-26-2004 that is a pretty sweet list!! you should race darkpuppet when you are done... JRSC v. vortech contest!! -ultra Secret- Plan Of Action For My Svt. - ZX3TUNR - 05-26-2004 Ya. Its going to be sick. Just wait till next summer. I will be there :D -ultra Secret- Plan Of Action For My Svt. - meford4u - 05-26-2004 That's a nice list Marc. You must be single. Enjoy "The time of your life" B -ultra Secret- Plan Of Action For My Svt. - darkpuppet - 05-26-2004 Just a thought.. once you consider the cost of getting a low impedence driver for the injectors, it might cost about the same to get the high impedence injectors and just run 'em off the stock system...especially if you're going SCT. I'm not a believer of water/meth injection, but for the JRSC, it's probably the most viable for keeping things cool (though I'd equate it more with NO2 than intercooling)... when you get the tuning done, are you going to have the 4 position switch? And have programs for running water/meth and one for when you aren't? Regardless, this should be a pretty solid plan for getting the car into the 200's on a mustang dyno.. good luck! -ultra Secret- Plan Of Action For My Svt. - scoobasteve - 05-26-2004 Wouldnt this setup be pulling mid 200s on the mustang dyno? I coulda swore that bluetoy said he dyno'd 204 on a mustang dyno before -ultra Secret- Plan Of Action For My Svt. - darkpuppet - 05-26-2004 scoobasteve,May 26 2004, 12:32 PM Wrote:Wouldnt this setup be pulling mid 200s on the mustang dyno?Bluetoy was pulling 185-190 on the mustang dyno, and about 205 on a dynojet. I think. -ultra Secret- Plan Of Action For My Svt. - BerinG - 05-26-2004 Where did you get your SCt custom dyno tuned? -ultra Secret- Plan Of Action For My Svt. - bluetoy - 05-26-2004 188 on a Mustang Dyno and 196 on Dasilva's dyno. I'd also steer away from low impedance injectors. 55lb high impedance will work fine. You are doing what I was planning, but I chickened out after everyone with more than 6 psi and a S/C has a blown engine to show for it... You'll have to be careful with the water injection also. If you use the hole in the back of the intake you could run into problems. Jackson Highly recommended not to use it. They said the water is not evenly distributed and it would cause 1 or more cylinders to run too hot.. Best bet would be to drill new holes in the manifold at the ends and spray with two nozzles. One thing two remember about rims is that they may have lots of spokes and seem stronger but the spokes are only on the outside and they are just as week on the inner lip. -ultra Secret- Plan Of Action For My Svt. - DD1 - 05-27-2004 I'll race this spring ;) -ultra Secret- Plan Of Action For My Svt. - darkpuppet - 05-27-2004 naz,May 26 2004, 06:08 AM Wrote:that is a pretty sweet list!!he's got the SVT..so he has a head start.. but I might actually have a better torque curve.. need to see a dyno to be sure... straightline might be close. and unless I invest in better tires or a better driver, ain't no winning in the twisties. -ultra Secret- Plan Of Action For My Svt. - naz - 05-27-2004 go for it man!! seems like you guys are putting down similar numbers.. its gonna be a driver's race i think -ultra Secret- Plan Of Action For My Svt. - french_connection - 05-28-2004 actualy I made a mistake when listing the part, I meant highimp injectors obviously, sorry guys. B) -ultra Secret- Plan Of Action For My Svt. - SVTDavan - 05-29-2004 The motor in the SVT is EXTREMELY strong. It'll handle 10 pounds with ease, as long as it's properly tuned! My opinions... get the ORP. Will make a huge difference in the breathing of your system, making the boost you create all that much more usefull. Only go with black wheels if you get a polished lip. No graphics. :) |
