Painting Drums And Calipers - j3rt - 05-12-2004 Whilst reading the cdn flyer I saw the brake paint kits. I was wondering if they would help prevent the further rusting my drums seem to have. I would thing they do. I noticed the kit includes brake cleaner and paint. Any need to apply primer on the drums? what kind of gains can i expect from red paint? blue? I msure you or a freind allready has the stuff in a gaarge. $5 for a can of high temp drum/caliper paint. Only thing you get out of it is a nicer looking drum instead of it looking all crappy..
