Whilst reading the cdn flyer I saw the brake paint kits.
I was wondering if they would help prevent the further rusting my drums seem to have. I would thing they do.

I noticed the kit includes brake cleaner and paint. Any need to apply primer on the drums?

what kind of gains can i expect from red paint? blue?

Artciles section there is a how to for drums.

No need to buy a speacial kit. I msure you or a freind allready has the stuff in a gaarge. $5 for a can of high temp drum/caliper paint. Only thing you get out of it is a nicer looking drum instead of it looking all crappy.. CDN Tire just summed it up all nice.

I used flat black bbq paint.

Worked wicked. Just use a wire brush to get rid of all the "flake"

Yeah I am planning on doing this on the weekend. Figured to use a wire brush and brake clean...... just thought it would be nice to see a HOW TO as I know Jay did one before.

I just did mine black. I got a can of high heat black paint from Can Tire. Looks good, but i did a quick job, so might need to do over in awhile.

I don't have a digi cam, or i wouldve added pics.
