First Time Out After Winter Storage - cawong11 - 03-30-2009 Took the SVT and SRT4 out yesterday, oh, and the Cobalt SS too. Had to put some fresh gas in the SVT and SRT4, got the rust of the rotors too. Did a little aesthetic mod on the SRT4 too. (CF exhaust cut outs and black painted valance) First Time Out After Winter Storage - Oscar The Grouch - 03-30-2009 As Borat would put it: "Very Nice!" First Time Out After Winter Storage - faster_than_u - 03-30-2009 more contour pix please First Time Out After Winter Storage - fatphocus - 03-30-2009 ok I'll take the Contour plz you can keep the Neon  looks amazing as always First Time Out After Winter Storage - NikiterZTS - 03-30-2009 I'll take that neon any day out of 3. People on here will take anything with Ford badge on it. What do you prefer to drive out of those cars? First Time Out After Winter Storage - GFXjamie - 03-30-2009 SRT right here with SVT to follow close behind. First Time Out After Winter Storage - fatphocus - 03-30-2009 the Neon is the fastest of the bunch but to me its still a Neon, which is why Id take the SVT..but if that Cobalt looked the same way, I'd take that instead :D First Time Out After Winter Storage - cawong11 - 03-30-2009 fatphocus,Mar 30 2009, 03:18 AM Wrote:the Neon is the fastest of the bunch but to me its still a Neon, which is why Id take the SVT..but if that Cobalt looked the same way, I'd take that instead :D They are all nice cars to drive, each are different from the other. Since I haven't done much with the SS yet, I still prefer to drive the Contour SVT. When I am finished with the SS, that may be another story. The SRT is a very fast car, fastest of the three with the mods that are done to it, but, fast isn't everything. Don't get me wrong, I like all of them, otherwise, I wouldn't have any of them. Here are more SVT pics. And a couple of the SS (Current state) First Time Out After Winter Storage - Focus man. Focus. - 03-30-2009 You have a very nice looking fleet. Which is your winter car? First Time Out After Winter Storage - Canadian ST - 03-30-2009 I like the SS alot, its a sleaper, well untill you put that 747 wing on it..J/K. How do you like the SS for every day driving? I have a Ford Ranger FX4 work truck. ;) (Use that all the time to keep the miles off the other cars) First Time Out After Winter Storage - cawong11 - 03-31-2009 Canadian ST,Mar 30 2009, 08:53 AM Wrote:I like the SS alot, its a sleaper, well untill you put that 747 wing on it..J/K. How do you like the SS for every day driving? Heh, it's a touring wing, reminiscant of the early 2000's British and Australian touring cars (which had aluminum 2 post wings). ;) First Time Out After Winter Storage - NikiterZTS - 03-31-2009 hey maybe you should come to the dyno day with SS to see its baseline? :) First Time Out After Winter Storage - Canadian ST - 03-31-2009 ^^I would guess 220WHP? First Time Out After Winter Storage - GFXjamie - 03-31-2009 agreed, dyno or fail! lol id like to see what they pull stock or almost stock. Id still take the SRT, i know how they handle with the right parts suspension wise. FYI I love your fleet... I had the opportunity to drive mine for 10kms, mixec city and hwy, and I was sold after the test drive. I had read up a lot on these cars so I knew what I wanted. I also chose the 4 door, just to be different. The engines are well underated, as per the previous post noted, most are producing around 240 to 250 to the wheels stock, and with an ECU tune, over 300hp/300lbsft at the wheels have been seen after a good tune by one of the Cobalt Tuners, Trifecta/HP Tuners/Hahn Racecraft. Even GM's stage one turbo upgrade, mild tune, produces near 280 to 290 at the wheels (apparently). Lots of potential with this car, lots of mods available.
