Timing Belt or Timing Chain - dragerboat - 05-07-2010 Hi guys i just bought a 2009 ford focus se sedan and i was wondering if this model is equipped with a timing chain or a timing belt.I tried google but they are very elusive with this question. Thanks Fellas RE: Timing Belt or Timing Chain - Scorcher000 - 05-07-2010 Timming Chain, 200,000KM change or earlier. Depends on how hard you push it. Expect to pay from $200 to $1000 depending on damage done to tensioner and gaurds + chain.
