Well this will be my first post.
Just picked up a 2000 Focus SE with just over 100k. Wasn't a bad price.
Got it cheap because the brakes were gone. Figured brakes are an easy fix... ...I've never seen anything like it. The back brakes has to be one of the worst designs to work on. Recessing the bolts so they'll stay covered in salt all winter must have many just tossing these cars over a cliff. I'm now in a love/hate relationship. Will have to find a wrecked sportier model so I can upgrade to disks.

wrecked sportier model is an SVT and you wont find too many of those wrecked. CFM sells a rear conversion kit i think....

Welcome. Yeah the drum designs are s**t. Best to get a rear svt disc swap.
