i have a 2006 yz450f that i bought new in 2006 and im finally deciding to rebuild the motor.
i pulled the motor today and it defiantly needs a piston cylinder and a head job.
a factory cylinder is $325.13 and a factory piston is $117.50 plus rings ext.
but a CYLINDER WORKS BIG BORE KIT 478cc is only 543.82 and that comes with all new gaskets and such.
I am going to build the motor my self but im goning to have to send the head out. hopefully i dont need new valves.
i havent ordered any parts and the list is still growing. but ill post up pics when i start the rebuild.
