Hello,

I haven't been on here in quite a while. Thinking of getting a another Focus, so I figured I would do some reading on the '08 -'09 models. I'm guessing I will find lots of useful info.

Sit tight and save your money for another 9 months if you can...the remodeled next generation Focus should be out next year. If you can't wait that long the Fiesta should be at the dealers any week. Much better cars IMO than the 08-10 Focus.

The Fiesta was on the radar, but I don't know if it will be tight for the kids and their car seats. I may be able to wait for the next gen Focus, but the wife is pressuring me to get a new car soon.

I'd be more worried about the "tiny" factor.

Sandwiched myself into the drivers seat of a new Fiesta they were displaying at the Carlisle event.

The words "Hell No" do little to describe the pain I felt wedging myself in there and getting out of that automotive equivalent of a wet suit Dodgy

Still, it's the point lol. I think the new Fiesta will kick @ss... a little small for a DD, but good capable tuner car.

Yeah, I know Nik - not a direct comparison (just like comparing say, oh I don't know ... a 45k Evo or STi to a 25k Mustang?? LOL) ... but my serious point was that 1) the exterior shape of a car in that class is dictated for the most part by interior space considerations, and that 2) an individual can make the Fiesta look pretty much however they want it to with colour choice and the application of aftermarket stuff.

Some folks may want that green which I dislike intensely or they may want graphics that make it look cartoonish (I reacted negatively to some of the graphics Ford apparently is offering) ... and others may want to do up a Ken Block Fiesta replica ... which to my eye anyway, is anything but gay.

I dunno, those wheels on the FSwerks car look like they were ripped off some lawn tractor or something :S

I like the Steeda wheels though, those fit the car perfectly IMO.

they are work meister 2 pc wheels... tractors aint got shiz on them! would be better in a not so white colour tho...
