03 focus with a 2.3L? - buzz2.0 - 08-26-2010
I work at a ford dealer and the other day a 2003 focus zx3 came into the shop. Nothing special looking about it, dark blue, stock trim. But it had a 2.3L duratec 2005+ engine. It was from the California. Anyone know about this car? was it a special edition? Info???

it is PZEV engine, Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle or something, optional in 2003 in California, Massachusetts, New York, Vermont, and Maine; optional in all US states in 2004..
when i was in california, my buddy had one and was awwwwwwwwww~some when it had i/e combo.

thats one of the most sought after models as so many people want the old body style, zx3 and 2.3l. if it was a 2.3l 5 speed wagon it would be even cooler IMO
