So I've asked around the forums about a front lip for my 2005 ZX5 focus but they're all discontinued!? dah! I hava question about this Mach 1 lip that i've seen. I assume its from a mustang but i've seen sum focus's on CARDOMAIN with it rigged up, looks decent? Does anyone have one on this site or has tried to conform it to fit the focus since that seems like the only one i can find unless sumone is selling one in the forums?? thanks....

i found basically the same, im looking for one or a svt bumper, but i priced out the lip from fors here in ottawa, and its 250$ compared to 995$ for the svt bumper from ford lol

I've got an aftermarket source for the Focus S2 lip, but it's spec'd for the S2 bumper (tabs which fit into holes in the bumper) which has the holes already in it for the lip ... it also comes with 3m tape, so my thinking was simply to cut off the tabs and install it on my regular bumper with just the tape and maybe some silicone.
I bought one earlier this year but haven't had time to put it on - I can take a pic when I get home if anyone's interested in it. It's black and ready to paint BTW.
IIRC it was about $170 CAD + HST landed.

ive never heard that until here but the I never dug deep I just remember that as much as I like it a lot it's basically impossible to find one so I never bothered to find out...

I don't know. I had heard the Mach 1 lip was nearly impossible to find and maybe you were just posting that up just cause it was called Mach 1.
Hopefully they have some in stock cause I'd love to get my hands on one in the new year... so much to buy so little money...

I know I've seen Mach1 lips pop up on Kijiji in Ottawa before. Keep checking, you should be able to get a used one for about $50.

hopefully it's still on kijiji (the one posted ^) because I do like em. Too bad though I hafta start making decisions on whether I want to start putting non OEM parts on my car. It was a theme

At least it's an original Ford one, and not aftermarket.
