SAP Fog lights - wilky1989 - 09-29-2011
Ive tried to install HID into the fog lights... but the housing is H11 but its a H1 bulb or vise versa... but the point is that it is very hard nearly impossible to install unless you mod the housing... has anyone with the SAP front end installed HIDs and if not what is a decent replacment..LED Bulbs???

did you ever find out which bulb it takes or figure out how it fits? ive heard of issues with these before and looking for some quick tips before i buy my set for the fogs also.

no i didnt i tried a few HID's and they just broke you will have to do a few mods to the housing if you want it to fit... sorry about that

Sounds like you bought the wrong size HID bulbs

i took it into a shop and they tried these bulbs for me but i was curious why they wouldnt fit. If you know what a decent replacement for this bulb i would really like to know... I hope it works for someone cause like i said i really want HID fogs

What part didn't fit? Did it have the wrong connector shape or was it simply the bulb itself was too long or too wide?

I believe they said the connecting shape... I could be wrong it was a few months ago

That would be my guess too ... in which case it sounds like you didn't have the right bulbs.
