NEED HELP ASAP - burning oil smell - Lucster1000 - 11-15-2012

This just happened about 20 minutes ago, I smelt burning oil under my hood and I opened it up, it looks like some oil dripped onto my headers and was burning off. The picture shows where there is wet oil present, anyone know what it is? Is it just a gasket or something else? Is it a job I could do or should a garage do it?

Valve cover gasket or crank case vent tube , from the picture it looks like the valve cover gasket . Simply take the cover off , get a new gasket and put it right in.

Thanks, that's exactly what it was. Went to Napa and got a gasket and finished it in an hour.
