This is one of the best event I have been too. If you really love a good drive, a great group of people, cheap food and drinking/partying in the evening then you should make this a priority. I missed last year but I'll be damed if I miss this one again.

Please post up and vote if you are able to make it. Start saving money now and just put like $50 per pay away and you will be set by June. Last year the event cost me on my own $1000 roughly. I did eat a lot and I had bought some items too. Room was $550. for 4 days.
The hotel seems cheaper then 2 years ago and I'll post updates when I find them. If you find them first feel free to post them up.

Ya hotel is a lot less. I usually budget 500$ if you share a room but typically bring 750 and buy race car parts that I make impulsive decisions on. It's great
The amount of friends I have made from this event is nuts. Anywhere I go in the states I know somebody close by and just got back from Detroit where I saw our michigan brethren. Great event if your looking to expand your focus horizons

just finishing up my cfm cat nd flex install this week and it will be on all 4's again and ready to go. ive wanted to hit this for 3 years now the daates have just never worked out for me but im good for this year

the more the merrier. by now it seems we may have more than 2 cars showing up. hope it holds true for when we get to june as things tend to change.
Right off the bat there is me, John, Steve 100% in. I know a few others are talking about it too. its awesome how cheap the hotel is this year, also it seems to have a big parking lot right outside the rooms for good times at nights. Has anyone ever been to a parking lot with 75+ foci? every year gets better and the quality of cars improves as well.
Looking forward to bringing the sedan out again this summer and down to carlisle again.

Your cars don't have to be done up. They can be stock too. The car scene is completely different down there and the people are great too.

Just like last year and the year before, I'd love to go but probably won't. By the time the event gets closer I'll be looking at my finances going "nope, not this year".

We made the Carlisle Ford Nationals in 2011. We will make it there again someday. Just have to finish the wagon. Still need to change front bumper, skirts and fabricate a rear bumper. We enjoyed meeting the week after up in Toronto.
Go, you will not regret it.

Ohh I know I wouldn't regret it and I oh so very much want to go... the $6-800 itself to go down isn't so much a problem in itself... it's just everything else...
New summer tires (two tires two bulges, 4 bald)
New front brakes - I have a sticky caliper and I wanted to do an upgrade here for autocross
"Timing Belt" (more on this later)
Finish my euro front end (need to get the plugs for the euro corners and fogs and get the upper ghia grill)
Refinish my 6 spokes
And more things as they arise...
So, saving up $800 is fine and all... getting my focus there is a whole different story and I just did the clutch and lwfw so nothing else is happening for the next little while.

I am a definite go for this year , I don't have school so I'll have lots of extra cash lol. Should be a fun time. I was talking to a few people on Facebook about it. Hopefully we get a good number of cars to go.

Registered for this a couple of weeks ago, so I'll be going. Might go down a day early for a leisurely drive through PA and visit some relatives along the way.
