Just a quick announcement that the automatic e-mail validation for new users has now been disabled.
an admin is now required to manually register anyone joining the site.
This is being done to address the increased spambot presence on the site.

likely... there's a new version of the board software available now to address spammers, so I may look into it or some other board software as I'm looking to swtich to a better hosting provider anyways...
I'd love to know how google is handling it from their end tho... since these are all gmail accounts.
