Need Help! - brzy - 02-18-2010

Hi,
I was wondering if I were to purchase 17x17.5 rims would I have to change my suspension system to fit the tires or could I just mount them and ride off?

Please let me know ASAP!

I have a ford focus 2008 SE Sedan

17 X 17.5 will not fit. :P

You shouldnt have any issues with a 7.5 rim.

depends on the offset, going to need like a -42mm-45mm offset. i have 17x7.5 with a -40mm offset and i rubbed when lowered. if you are stock ride height should be fine it you dont hit big bumps with a full car load

As mentioned, it depends on your suspension (lowered or not) and the rim's offset ... and it also depends on the size of the tire you're considering ... the stock SVT size of 215-45-17 should be no problem with the right offset ... even with a slightly lowered suspension.
