Some New Toys To Play With - SVTGuy02 - 03-08-2008

I've been pickin up some random parts here n there, stockpilin...... well now its time to get workin! I'm REALLY gung ho about the Inside Line event on Mar 22nd so I gotta get the car up to tip top shape.

It all starts with the Cold Air intake that I installed yesterday, and the VF Engine Mount today!

The Cold Air intake was a breeze heh (nice play on words)..... first piece goes in, second piece goes in from under, connect them with the rubber middle piece then clamp em!

The CAI I bought came with a 90 degree elbow so the filter sits UP, right behind the wheel well.
The engine mount, thanks to Mitch's great help, was super easy to install (aside from getting that middle bolt off............ WWWOOOWWW that thing is on fudging tight!!!
Mitch told me that it is absolutely necessary to get the middle one off first THEN the outer 4. Now I know why, the middle would NEVER come off with the perimeter bolts taken off, the mount would move too much around.

Is there any problems with the way its mounted??

As for that attachment for the CAI..... I've been told how to attach it, so I'll get that one done later on :)

More parts to come!! ^_^
