Kumho Mx Tires In The Rain - naz - 01-05-2008 in case anyone on here was on the fence about buying these (or similar) tires because of wet weather concerns, i can say from first hand experience (just drove through a big rain storm) that at around 5/32" tread depth (approximately 1/2 tread i believe) the tires are safe to drive in the wet, as long as i keep the vehicle speed at around 55-60mph. at higher speeds i experienced hydroplaning when i drove over standing water. wet road is not the concern, it is standing water Kumho Mx Tires In The Rain - FocusGuy7476 - 01-05-2008 I agree with this review 100%, I've experienced the same with the Kumho MX in the rain. |
