2009 Zr 1 - CanadaSVT - 12-21-2007 GTR fighter. What's Ford gonna do? http://www.detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/artic...0339/1148/rss25 2009 Zr 1 - D-Dub - 12-21-2007 bring out a mustang that will have more hp.............but still handle like s***. 2009 Zr 1 - NOS2Go4Me - 12-21-2007 I figured they'd go F/I. That's all they had left on the table to get over 600HP without a monster motor that wouldn't keep them within CAFE rules. 2009 Zr 1 - FocusGuy7476 - 12-22-2007 Trying to figure out why they are still using transverse leaf springs front and rear on it. 2009 Zr 1 - naz - 12-22-2007 CanadaSVT,Dec 21 2007, 12:40 AM Wrote:GTR fighter. What's Ford gonna do? i think the ZR1 is in a whole other league than the GTR.. the z06 is faster than a 911 turbo around a track stock v stock (and supposedly the GTR appx = 911 turbo) http://www.leftlanenews.com/corvette-z06-b...ound-track.html the ZR1 should blow both the 911 turbo and the GTR away (and pretty much most other cars too) last time i was at thunderhill i saw a shelby GT500 and the C6 z06 lapping at the same itme, and it could have been driver difference but the GT500 was getting spanked. 2009 Zr 1 - naz - 12-22-2007 FocusGuy7476,Dec 21 2007, 05:39 PM Wrote:Trying to figure out why they are still using transverse leaf springs front and rear on it. i was thinking of the same thing since i noticed that '04 Z06 with 15k miles can be purchased for only $32k USD during my research here is something i found http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corvette_leaf_springs seems like z06 vettes are just absolutely bad ass if you can get over the typical image of corvette owners 2009 Zr 1 - Burnin21 - 12-22-2007 What are you trying to say about Corveete owners? I own a 1990 and my old man is trying to get one of these ZR1's pre-ordered at a local dealership. I know a few Camaro owners and i'd rather ride with Vette owners any day. |
