Snow Tires - williswrath - 11-27-2007

I have a set of snows from a previous car that a friend thought may fit my 2005 ST. Theyre 215/60R15. I just wanted to check whether or not hes right b4 i sell them. If they dont work, what size should i aim for, if i move down to a 15" rim.

if you aren't lowered that should be fine. i used 195/65/15 snow tires on my stock '00 zx3 without any problems for a few weeks. 215/60/15 is appx the same diameter of 195/65/15 so those tires should be ok

another thing to consider though is that narrower tires are better for snow traction... people have suggested to me to use 185/65/15 snow tires but i couldn't stand the idea of even worse dry handling, so i used to use 195/60/15 stock size tires

but if you are getting a smoking deal on those tires go for it

well its a good deal cuz i already own the 215s. If they dont fit my focus ill just sell them and put the money towards snows that do fit.

So b4 i go and sell these, can i be sure that 215 60R15 tires will fit on my Focus? If htey will work it will save me a ton of cash, as ill only have to pay for rims.
