looks good, could use some new Rims... as those look to small on your car.

New Guy, New Car - Focus man. Focus. - 09-10-2007

Very nice. Needs a drop and some wheels. Then an MBRP exhaust, turbo, etc, etc.....

Welcome to the site!!!

16" or 17" rims for sure... maybe see if the dealer has a spare set of factory 5-spoke 16s kicking around.

After that, intake, exhaust and an ECU tune. Those three things shouldn't break $1000 and they'll be a night-and-day improvement to your 2.0L Duratec. It just wants to breathe. Trust me ;)

Also, if you want to upgrade the suspension down the road (and you want to add a rear anti-sway), you'll likely need the upgraded rear subframe connector from the Ford Racing catalogue. The stock subframe on the ZX3s doesn't come with or accept a rear anti-sway bar; it's a critical addition if you don't want your car to understeer horribly at the limit.

Welcome to FocusCanada.net! :hi:

Welcome, you'll find this place a wealth of information about your new ride (and a way to make your wealth dissapear as you upgrade your car  )

NefCanuck

P.S. Go new rims first, with the GFX package I'll never understand why Ford saw fit to only put 15" on the car

New Guy, New Car - NikiterZTS - 09-10-2007

hello and welcome
i already spotted your first mod.....tha Dice!

who's the other Focus beside yours?

New Guy, New Car - oldeguy - 09-10-2007

:hi:
I kinda like the stock 15" rims myself. You don't have to lower the car as much...
Are you in the Durham area? I see an identical ZX3 out my way at the coffee shop

New Guy, New Car - RedGFX007 - 09-10-2007

what is this MBRP i keep hearing about??? i was goin to go with Magnaflow cuz i had a muffler on the scort and it sounded Hawt.
yes the dice are key and they are off my old escort, damn the rust that took her! she is so getting a 1.5" drop and a sway bar! i do have 17s from the scort but i'm not sure if i should use adapters or get new rims with the right spacing. thoughts on that? anyways thanks for the comments guys!

oh and my buddy i in the pic lives out in newmarket so i might have been out that way if you saw one identical to mine...

Chris :banger:

http://www.Trubendz.com has a good deal on magnaflow flex back or catback systems. I got the 2.5 inch flex back stainless steel and love it , got the 2.5 since im planning turbo in future if you will be going NA then 2.1/4 is efficient. Let the mods begin , a nice 1.5 to 2 inch drop would look amazing ... keep it clean

New Guy, New Car - NOS2Go4Me - 09-10-2007

If you want something that sounds "hawt", anything from WalMart or Canadian Tire will do you.

If you want a real, Canadian-made T304 stainless exhaust that will add power to your car and a smile to your face each time you start it, check MBRP.

Call their toll-free number (they have up to 4 systems now, but ask Lorraine to be sure) and get a quote for anything between a 2.25" cat-back to a 2.5" flex-back.

Seeing as it's a new car, my mindset is to start fresh. You may want to reuse the rims from the Escort if that suits you.

New Guy, New Car - ANTHONYD - 09-10-2007

WELCOME!

Go with the MBRP.

Reasonable in price and sounds great!

New Guy, New Car - zx5power - 09-10-2007

 That's what you call good PR, they treated him good, and now he's returning the favour... but yes, to him MBRP is a labour of love. :P
