i've always wanted one.....my buddy had the biggest on i've ever seen.....something was not right about the size of that pit that he had...

I have a friend who recently adopted from River St. They have waaay too many animals right now, and are not charging adoption fees.
Personally, I think a donation of some kind would be the right thing to do, but they have a 'give what you can' policy.
