i was just browsing and then i saw this ebay page......this guy modifies regular 05+ head lights to HID

Good lead ... although he leaves a lot of questions unanswered ... like what brand bulb and ballast ... whether or not he had to remove the lens to do the retrofit ... how to adjust them - I sent him an email - we'll see what he says.

thought about doing something similar to mine, but im also considering trying out a couple european versions
ford mondeo mk3 headlights looks very similar to the N/A 05+ focus
just more confined inside the housing

don't be fooled by the similarity in shape ... the mounting points are likely to be entirely different ... the 05+ Mexican Focus headlights look virtually identical to ours and apparently they don't fit either.

The seller got back to me but didn't post the answers to his listing

as long as the shape is the same im not to worried about the direct fitment theres always ways to make them fit :)

Too bad he lives across the state from me, or I'd go take a look at them. :(
They do look nice, and would be a nice change, but oh well. No way in hell would I dish out that kind of money for headlights.
