Wheel Decisions - NOS2Go4Me - 12-12-2006 I've decided that the stock 5-spoke OEM 16" rims on the Focus will be the winter rims. I need suggestions on what to get. I've put 5 rim choices up in the poll, along with an option for "other". Right now I'm using http://www.1010tires.com for choices - does anyone have any other options (preferably in Canada)? I'm only looking to go +1 for rim size at the moment... this way if I drop the car down the road, rubbing shouldn't be too much of an issue. If there's something REALLY compelling in 18" sizing ;) I wouldn't be against checking it out however. Thanks guys. :) All of the wheels, as listed above, are linked below: EVO6 Torque 5 Oku-8 Hurry Trouble LATE ENTRIES: Konig Tuner2 - uh, wow. I really like those. Wheel Decisions - ZX5chica - 12-13-2006 I like the Kobe Oku-8 and the Evo6's the best... try Deals 4 wheels Some of the guys I know have dealt with them and have been pretty happy. They seem to be pretty cheap, especially if you can work out a cash deal ;) Wheel Decisions - NefCanuck - 12-13-2006 Out of the options you have there, I like the "Trouble" style wheels the best because it has both silver and graphite look to it. NefCanuck Wheel Decisions - ZX5focused - 12-13-2006 i love the troubles for my car, but i say the evo6 for yours Wheel Decisions - SliverSteeda - 12-13-2006 http://www.carmodifier.com/default.asp?Action=basket Wheel Decisions - Flofocus - 12-13-2006 SliverSteeda,Dec 12 2006, 12:04 PM Wrote:http://www.carmodifier.com/default.asp?Action=basket Thats who i got my azenis through....really good guys to deal with, and will hook you up with cash deals. Wheel Decisions - NOS2Go4Me - 12-13-2006 Hmmm there are a LOT of wheels that don't have 4x108 spacing. GRRR. I'm getting a lot of ideas, but PLEASE... keep them coming! I really appreciate it! :D Wheel Decisions - castone - 12-13-2006 i have 17" konig hurry's in black love them now i want them in 18 this is the only pic i have of the wheels Wheel Decisions - smith21 - 12-13-2006 adam...evo6's buddy...and try http://www.wheelsnext.com....they're really good to deal with, that's who hooked me up with my rims Wheel Decisions - ZX5focused - 12-13-2006 ever thought of OZ's ?? the Superleggera's (sp??) would look good on the read and the Superturismo's look good on any color Wheel Decisions - NOS2Go4Me - 12-13-2006 smith21,Dec 12 2006, 05:33 PM Wrote:adam...evo6's buddy...and try http://www.wheelsnext.com....they're really good to deal with, that's who hooked me up with my rims Brian - thanks for hooking me up with the site! The EVO6s are starting to grow on me, I think. ZX5focused - OZs would be pimp, but I'm having trouble finding a Canadian distributor for them. If someone can find a Canadian line on the OZ Superleggeras or Superturismos, let me know. I'll keep digging, but it looks like it'll be either the Enkei EVO6s or the Konig Tuner2s at this point. EDIT - I found the Superturismos on tirerack.com - $249 each. Aren't those the same as the EAP SVT rims but in white? The Superturismo GTs (silver - 18") are sweeeeeeet. I still think I'll end up with either the Enkei or Konig offerings at this rate... plus I have other avenues to explore, too. ;) Wheel Decisions - Focus man. Focus. - 12-13-2006 I say the Evo-6's or Trouble's. Both would look hot on your ride. Wheel Decisions - meford4u - 12-13-2006 Just to add to the mix, I think these would look great on your car(Momo's) the one in Mitch;s for sale ad. http://www.focuscanada.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=19049 Wheel Decisions - ZX5focused - 12-13-2006 NOS2Go4Me,Dec 12 2006, 07:04 PM Wrote:EDIT - I found the Superturismos on tirerack.com - $249 each. The Superturismo GTs (silver - 18") are sweeeeeeet. they are similar, but the finish on them is awesome and the spokes are a little differantly shaped Wheel Decisions - NOS2Go4Me - 12-13-2006 meford4u,Dec 12 2006, 08:07 PM Wrote:Just to add to the mix, I think these would look great on your car(Momo's) the one in Mitch;s for sale ad. Hmm, you're right Bryan... the Quasars are pretty hot. And they're already in Canada AND there's no tax... just shipping from Mitch. I'll keep them in mind for sure. Wheel Decisions - Burnin21 - 12-14-2006 EVO6 is pretty sweet. That'd go good with your ride. Wheel Decisions - Drivesthebeast - 12-15-2006 I'd put SVT wheels on the car...they'd look nice, won't break as easily as lightweight rims, and won't break the bank either...some people might happen to have some kicking around too....>nudge< ;) Wheel Decisions - NikiterZTS - 12-15-2006 Drivesthebeast,Dec 14 2006, 11:50 AM Wrote:I'd put SVT wheels on the car...they'd look nice, won't break as easily as lightweight rims, and won't break the bank either...some people might happen to have some kicking around too....>nudge< ;) they are pretty heavy Wheel Decisions - SliverSteeda - 12-15-2006 So what do you think your going to go with? Wheel Decisions - NOS2Go4Me - 01-04-2007 http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts/part_...rtKeyField=6445 Am I a complete retard today, or is this wheel also available in a light silver? I spent over an hour looking at wheels at my brother-in-law's place tonight after supper (while simultaneously looking for GSX-R parts for him, too) and found that I really, REALLY like the SVT EAP rims on red Foci. Help an indecisive guy out. |
