whatever it says on side of the car or owners manual.

I personally run my winter tires at 32 PSI. Its good on gas millage and good in the snow/ice.

Psi In Winters - NikiterZTS - 12-12-2006

on the side wall it says "max 51psi"

Side i meant, on the side of the car or the owners manual.

Usually tire pressure is set for the car and suspension rather then tire type.(i think) :)

Regardless of the type of tire you run (winter/All Season/Performance) the max cold PSI is whatever the owners manual (or sticker on the door jam, usually drivers door) says it should be.

yea i always had mine at 32psi as it says on the sire of the door

i just thought that winter tires get a lil more psi in them

Same here I bump it up to at least 35 and more ............ to me 32 is way too soft a ride.

Stock on your Focus is 32 psi right?

Interesting, 'cause stock on my '05 is 34 psi... Maybe for fuel economy concerns?

Depends on the tire sizes,

14" & 15" stock focus rims and tires it's 32psi
16" stock focus tires and rims it's 34psi

I'm running whatever the factory put in and the dealer topped off :P

I haven't even checked the door to be perfectly honest.

Unless they're doing something weird, it'll be 34 psi like mine ;)

12 psi...

Oh, were talking about tires. :D

Psi In Winters - reldridge - 01-02-2007

I actually vary my pressure depending on driving conditions. I'll run as low as 26 psi for icy roads, higher for snow (max of 35 psi). I find with my snow tires (BFG Winter Slalom) that the grip well on ice at around 30 psi, but higher they break traction quickly.
