Small Amount Of Oil Near Crankcase Breather Tube - xappie - 11-29-2006 Hi all Recently I noticed that I have a small wet area on top of the engine near the breather tube that runs from the back right side of the crankcase to the airbox. Anything to worry about? Should I just clean it up and put a clamp on the tube? Small Amount Of Oil Near Crankcase Breather Tube - focusracer - 12-12-2006 That tube had a "sweating" problem since the day I drove the car out of the shopwroom until I put a small clamp on it, that worked perfectly. According to the dealer it's a common "inconvenience". Just like my valve cover gasket that likes to "sweat". They like using those terms, I think my car has a gland problem. |
