Changing To Winters - 02_svt_guy - 11-03-2006 so in the summer i run euro svt rims with bf goodrich g force kdw's this winter i chose a new route stock svt 5 spoke 17's with nokian wr winter tires nokian wr tyres Changing To Winters - MAlby7 - 11-03-2006 Good Idea to switch to winter tires. When are you putting them on the car? Changing To Winters - NefCanuck - 11-03-2006 Interesting, I bought the Nokian WR All Season Plus^2, an H-rated tire for severe winter service and 100,000km treadwear warranty, but that model doesn't show on that website you provided  NefCanuck Changing To Winters - SVT ZX3 - 11-03-2006 This is the second winter I'll be driving the SVTf in the snow, last year I picked up some stock 16's and a set of Michelin X-Ice tires which are great in the snow but only decent on ice IMHO. I'm a little behind on the change over this year, and have still been running on the stock Continental Contisport tires in the snow for the last week. Not as bad as I thought they would be, but I still wouldn't want to go the whole winter on them. Let us know how you like the Nokians. A couple of the local auto scribes for the news paper absolutly rave about them in their write ups. Changing To Winters - 02_svt_guy - 11-03-2006 well the nokian/5 spoke 17's r on now i just need to wait for snow thet are not like my g force t/a kdw's though when i spin my tires they howl  |
