2006-2007 Focus 2.3L MTX-75 and 2007 Escape 2.3L Manual Transmission Misfire DTCs P0316, P0300, P0301, P0302, P0303, and P0304
Some 2006-2007 Focus vehicles equipped with 2.3L engines and MTX-75 manual transaxles and 2007 Escape vehicles equipped with 2.3L engines and manual transaxles may exhibit an intermittent malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) on or flashing with multiple misfire diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P0316, P0300, P0301, P0302, P0303, or P0304 present in the powertrain control module (PCM) with or without associated drivability symptoms. This concern may be due to the PCM ignition profile being set incorrectly. REFER TO THE TSB FOR COMPLETE SERVICE
