2000-2007 Focus - Check Trans Fluid Level and Adjust if Necessary
Low fluid level in the automatic transaxle of 2000-2007 Focus vehicles may cause the torque converter clutch to engage and may result in a vibration/shudder during decel when coming to a stop and/or engine won't idle. First verify that the transmission fluid is to the top of the fluid fill mark when the transmission is fully warmed up. If the fluid level is correct, continue with normal diagnostics.
