Shooting In Montreal This Afternoon - Oscar The Grouch - 09-14-2006

Yes its sad. :(

They said it was a long rifle but not an automatic that was used in the attack. The guy was wearing a trenchcoat and had a mohawk.

Reminds me of that attack that killed those college girls about 10 years ago. To which spawned the so called gun registry.

Well, it seems to me that this registry did a lot to prevent this from happening. So much for that piece of legislative garbage.

f**king people! Our world is crap!

Shooting In Montreal This Afternoon - S2 - 09-14-2006

I've been listening to this since it broke on the talk radio channel here in town.

Things like this are just 'messed' up...... but not shocking anymore.

Considering the high percentage of people on whatever drug of choice (weed, anti depressants, etc) people 'going off' isn't a uncommon thing anymore.

Sure F**king people, I agree completely......

I feel extremely horrible for the familys/students as I can't imagine the stress of not being able to find/get a hold of a loved one......

Tragic but with some luck the gunmen got killed.... better then going though Canada's glorious justice system and being out in what, 6 or 7 years..... BS.

Yeah, or less time eh Chad?

Hopefully he got f***ing PWNED.

Shooting In Montreal This Afternoon - S2 - 09-14-2006

Latest Update, sounds like only one gunman, even though witnesses said one in army gear, one in black (matrix looking f**k).

Something like 13 in hospital, 6 extremely serious (critical)......

Gunman was killed by police.

School is secure, search for other suspects called off, everyone evacuated.

Shooting In Montreal This Afternoon - Kelowna_Focus - 09-14-2006

How can anyone even do that? He shot 20 people in 3 minutes... words escape me.

Shooting In Montreal This Afternoon - OAC_Sparky - 09-14-2006

I think its a little more than drugs here Chad. And Im sorry, but your average pot head isnt thinking about shootting up a school, hes thinking which flavour of doritos hes gonna munch on next.

This guy had serious issues going in his head regardless if he was on drugs or not...

Shooting In Montreal This Afternoon - S2 - 09-15-2006

I agree Flofocus, I do....... basically I was getting at the idea that people are more screwed up nowadays then they were in the past and it's a fact, there's more problems today then previously.

Sure this guy is f**ked diagonally in the head, for sure but it goes inline with all the screwed up crap that a big chunk of people have 'evolved' into the last decade and a bit.........

Weed was a poor example but regardless, I bet if they tested the guy, his toxicology wold have drugs in his system and I'd bet weed would be one of them. Regardless this is hugely tragic..........

pretty friggin' sad.

Guess he posted all his BS and hatred, etc on a vampire board somewhere on the internet.

pretty sad, but to be honest, i don't think that the world is any more or less sick than before... the way I figures it, the sickness factor is about the same.. the level of dementia out there hasn't really changed..

what has increased is the population and the statistical probability of a select few being nuts... not to mention the availability of better technology, not only for harming people, but for spreading news of the incident...

Doesn't mean that these people shouldn't be caught and put away before they can do such harm... just sad..
