Coveted? No. They are easy to steal, and minivans are convenient when you want to putride around with your 6 other friends (for a joyride), plus they're handy to haul away the goods in a b&e.

Notice, no Fords? While you might think it's because nobody wants them, but really it's because they're hard to steal because of the PATS key (the chip in the key).
TEAM PITA: Don't settle for a wannabe, only accept the real deal.

haha, funny how you say that.

sundance was stolen from my work's parking lot and they located the car 3 months later by the timmies 5 min away from work. Cops didnt think anyone would ever steal a car just so they can go to timmies with it. As sparky said, those things are so simple to brake in that a 10 yr old kid can take it for a joy ride.

When did PATS become standard across the Ford lineup though? Surely not in '94?

The Chryslers used cheap parts in the ignition, thereby making them so easy to pop I could do it...

Drunk off my ass... :P

the thing about most of those cars is they are easy to steal, Chrysler more so as Chrysler never added a stearing wheel lock to most if not all their products yet. it's on some models but not others... or included one year then not the next..
I was the only member on this board with a Yellow Focus Sedan, and a 2002+ Euro Facelift on a sedan.
