Las Vegas, Nevada - Mere weeks after the global unveiling of the new Volvo C30 at the 2006 Paris Motor Show, Volvo, in conjunction with three aftermarket tuning companies, has unleashed three custom C30 models at SEMA.

The three cars, all highly modified iterations of the production Volvo C30, are the separate visions of Evolve Cars, Heico Sportiv and Burton Snowboards, and ipd.

Built purely as design concepts and prototypes, each tuner took a decidedly different take on what the ultimate Volvo C30 could be. Volvo Cars supplied each company with a production C30 T5 with a six speed manual transmission and gave them only one rule to follow: all Volvo safety features must remain functional. Other than that, they were free to let their imaginations run wild.

the yellow one looks retarded!!! they had the right idea, except they just made it it look stupid. it looks like they had a deadline and couldnt meet it so they jsut ripped the rear wing off of a car in their parking lot and attached to a "chopped" front bumper. and i could have probly made a better rear diffuser with some sheet metal and tin snips.
i hope it has the power to back up the size of those rear wheels/tires and roll-cage. hopefully the put all their time in under the hood and then i dont care what it looks like as long as it goes like a mofo.

the blue one looks awesome, jsut need to get rid of the yellow wheels. but that kit looks sick. not a fan of "two of the big ones" in it though. it jsut seems like an easy way for them to bump the output of the turbo. their probly running a 100-150 shot on it, with cranked boost.

merge the blue body kit onto the yellow car(with assumed power upgrades) and that would be an awesome car.

the third "camo" car does nothing for me, unless its got s*** under the hood

the evolve puts out 507 hp to an awd drivetrain. i like it, but it still looks unfinished body wise

I love the look of the blue and yellow one. Except for the gullwing doors. The fit of the roof lines between the rear of the door and the roof doesn't line up. But the rest of the car is SWEET. I would drive it. Even though it kind of looks like a Subaru Rally car.

I think the gray camo one is pretty sweet. Ideal for the urban hustle, blend in with cement easily! :) Really, I do like it.
