Hey guys,
my buddy has a 01 focus 5spd wagon, and last year we installed a focus sport short shifter.
well today one of the cables slipped off. he put the cable back on but it fell off again,
it seems that the cable is slipping off the white piece that attaches to the shifter rod...
has anyone else had this problem?

its a snap on connection, right? I dont think it was in all the way. Make sure its in all the way. Similar thing happen to me when i installed it. Its got to be in really well and make sure it snaps in the spot.
If not, maybe the housing is cracked and it wont be able to hold the pressure

I was thinking that, because it wouldnt have been mounted improperly if it held on for almost 2 years.
