Dtc Codes Help
#1
Hi

My wifes 2000 ZX3 has been surging at cruising speed. It had been running worse but a change of the dpfe made things a lot better. It has new plugs, wires and I've checked for broken or loose wires.

A friend scanned it yesterday and came up with the P1124 and P0122 codes - both related to the TPS. He thought the scan was within range (0.65 to 6.47 or something like that) but it is throwing the CEL. Should we just change the tps now?

Thanks,

Peter

TPS is pretty cheap, its worth a shot to change it if that is what the CEL indicates.

Dealer only part, about $80. Replaced mine a couple of months ago. None in stock anywhere west of Ontario.

Same codes I got right before I replaced mine. I assume your car is stock?

The car is basically stock mechanically - only an AEM short tube CAI. I will try the tps - thanks for the replies.

Edit:

FYI - part was $ 46 + taxes at the Ford dealer
